This is a popular debate topic with me, and a subject dear to my heart.
See, I never understood why people say that homosexuality is so wrong and gross, and the past few months of my life have made it seem all the more wrong to me. You see, I recently figured out I'm bisexual, and that really stregnthened my belief that all the prejudice gay people get is wrong and makes no sense. And so I figured I'd share my opinions on the matter and see if you people can even come close to helping me understand the other side of the argument.
We're just people. We're no different than anyone else except for the small matter of our sexual preferences. Everyone makes it out to be a bigger deal than it is. I mean, people always say how racism and things like that are so wrong and then they turn around and do exactly the same thing to gay people. Love is love, whether it be with a member of the same sex or the opposite sex. It's not like we can control it, it's just part of who we are. Nobody can control it, so it shouldn't matter to them if someone is attracted to the same gender as themself. It's just natural. Do you go around saying a tree is gross because of the way its branches are formed? No. It's the same idea.
So, your opinions?

you have a great point. i have known bi, lez, and gay people all my life, and most of my friends are bi, i have no predijuce against anyone for that. i'm always supportive too, like it pisses me off when people are homophobic.

Definitely, I hate people like that. And I've been meeting a lot of bi people recently. I also know like six people who think Amy Lee is hot.

lol. Well, I think people are jerks. One of my friends is bi, and she says people are scared of it or some junk like that. Or, girls are, anyway, apparently the guys aren't so freaky.

I know one gay guy.
I am Christian and I believe that gay sex and lez sex are wrong. but is it okay if I don't bring my own opinion too far in to this? I also believe that people are entitled to their opinions.

Ah, yes, Christianity. According to Michelle, gay people go to hell. I'm like, "OK, bye!" That really drives me crazy.
But you're right that people are entitled to their opinions, even if others don't agree with them.

I'm catholic, and gay/leses and all they don't go to hell, sheesh. Well, we can't say that. I believe the age old saying, love the sinner, not the sin.

I have nothing against them, specially not bi. I don't agree with lezbians or gays. Though I have friends.
